Summer Volunteers
In addition to our paid summer staff, we have a team of volunteer staff who serve for one week camp sessions and are vital to the overall success of our program. Our volunteers provide each camp with energy, traditions to share, and excitement as they lead, sing, pray, play, and learn with our campers. Many volunteer counselors were once campers themselves while others join our community for the first time to serve in camp ministry. We strive to build authentic community among staff while passionately sharing the love of God with all our campers. All Volunteer Staff must have a loving attitude and be a positive role model for each camper; one to whom a camper can look to for friendship, a listening ear, support, encouragement, understanding, and care.
The safety of our campers is our priority. Volunteers will be screened and interviewed in order to select exceptional and qualified Christian young adults to lead and assist through various roles. Once selected, all counseling staff over the age of 18 must submit to national and local background checks.
